Describe how to don (put on) a gown and eye protection. Describe how to doff (remove) a gown and eye protection. Determine the correct sequence for donning and doffing pieces of personal protective equipment.


Description: This class will provide direct care workers with information on the use of gowns and eye protection during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Direct care workers will learn where to obtain reliable information about the use of gowns, goggles and face shields, and how to monitor the availability of personal protective equipment. They will also learn about different types of gowns and eye protection and when and how to use them.
